The inside of a Leaf Dungeon

Leaf Dungeons are one of the minor structures that can be found in the Twilight Forest. They can be found in spherical sets of leaves in Robust Twilight Oak Trees, and can be seen from the outside of the leaves. Leaf Dungeons are always a 7 block wide sphere, containing a Swarm Spider spawner, and one chest with an assortment of natural items. Occasionally, Leaf Dungeons will have Twilight Oak Leaves inside or a Twilight Oak Wood above the chest, likely due to how the Robust Twilight Oak Trees generate.

Chests in Leaf Dungeons are the only way to find Tree of Time, Tree of Transformation, Miner's Tree, Sorting Tree, and Robust Twilight Oak Saplings. Other items that the Leaf Dungeon can contain are: Melons, Pumpkin Pies, Wheat, Apples, Carrots, Potatoes, Poisonous Potatoes, Seeds, Melon Seeds, Dandelions, Poppies, Cactus, Sugar Cane, Sand, Flint, Ink Sacs, Feathers, Buckets of Water, Buckets of Milk, Flower Pots, Sickly Twilight Oak Saplings, Canopy Tree Saplings, Darkwood Saplings, Twilight Mangrove Saplings, and finally, Charms of Keeping I and Charms of Life I.

Finding Leaf Dungeons[]

A Leaf Dungeon, seen from the outside

The key to finding a Leaf Dungeon is to look for the distinct shape it has. Additionally, the Twilight Oak Wood surrounding the Leaf Dungeon can be seen under one layer of leaves, which is shown in the image to the right. Most Robust Twilight Oak Trees of a larger size have a Leaf Dungeon, so climbing the inside of sizable Oaks and checking through the canopy for Leaf Dungeons is a good way to find them. The more leaves a Robust Twilight Oak Tree has, the higher the likelihood that a Leaf Dungeon is hidden inside, and some may have more than one Leaf Dungeon inside.
